Alexa Ray Joel

Alexa Ray-Joel is an American musician, singer and songwriter. She is the daughter of Billy Joel, a singer/songwriter and Christie Brinkley, a model. Joel was born in New York and has been influenced by her parents' love for fashion and music. At the age of 19 Joel started her first band. Her debut live show took place in Maxwell's Hoboken New Jersey. The show quickly gained a lot of attention within the next couple of years and became one of the hottest stars of today. Joel recorded her first long play Sketches in the year 2006. The EP was released by Audio Bee Records helped Joel get her foot in the music business. Since then, she's recorded a number of singles and performed at numerous live shows. Joel was involved with fashion when she started her career. She has performed in numerous fashion shows and fashion events. She appeared in the BELLA Beauty magazine's front cover. Following the ingestion of a significant amount of Traumeel, she was admitted to hospital in December 2009. After a complete recovery in the hospital, she informed the media that she had not wanted to take her own life.
