Bashar Jackson, also popularly known as the pseudonym Pop Smoke (July 20th 1999-February 19th of 2020) was an American songwriter and rapper. Victor Victor Worldwide signed him. Pop Smoke also made music with Republic Records. Pop Smoke, who collaborated alongside UK Drill producers 808Melo Axl Beats Yoz Beatz Pop Smoke became notoriety for his role as the leader of Brooklyn drill. Welcome to the Party was the single that he released from his mixtape debut Meet the Woo, which was released in July of 2019. Welcome to the Party was made in two remixes with American rapper Nicki Minaj as well as British Skepta. Skepta in August of this year. In April 2019 Pop Smoke released his breakout single Welcome to the Party the first single from the mixtape he released as his debut album, Meet the Woo (2019). The song was later remixed 2 times, the first time featuring Nicki Minaj and the other with Skepta in the month of August, 2019. It was revealed that the track used UK drill-produced music, and would later be seen in his entire discography. It is due to the frequent collaborations with British drill manufacturer 808Melo. Mpr Flexin and Dior are just two more well-known tracks. The duo also collaborated on several other smash singles following the massive success of Welcome to the Party. This includes: War, featuring Lil Tjay, and 100k in a coupe with Calboy. Gatti by JackBoys with Travis Scott, released on JackBoys' (2019) album is a joint effort with him and Travis Scott.
